A growing number of designers are seeking jobs as freelance designers, and that trend is accelerating.
While some designers get paid in full time, others get jobs as freelancers.
Here’s what you need to know about them.AQ Textiles, a New York-based startup, has raised more than $30 million in funding.
The startup is seeking to build a suite of tools that will allow designers to design their own products.
They also plan to open a manufacturing facility in Brooklyn.
A qt, a new product for designers, lets users easily design their designs for other designers.
The app is designed to be “an online marketplace for designers to collaborate and share designs,” the company said in a blog post announcing the launch.
Qt will be available in beta starting this week.
There are currently no plans to open an office, according to the blog post.
The company’s CEO, Josh Hagerty, said in the post that his company was “moving to the forefront of the design ecosystem,” adding that it was “working closely with a growing number” of designers.
Hagerty is one of a growing group of designers looking for full-time work.
The number of job openings for designers has increased by more than 400 percent since the recession, according the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
