A new survey of 2,000 people who have watched the NFL over the past three years finds that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the most likely to play.
Of those polled, 71% said the Steelers would be the best-suited team for them, with 49% saying they would be more likely to watch a Pittsburgh Steelers game than a Dallas Cowboys game.
Of the 49% who said they would watch a Dallas Cowboy game, the majority would watch it more if it were a Steelers game, with just 18% saying that if it was a Steelers-Cowboys game, they would rather watch a Steelers victory than a Cowboys loss.
Of those who said that if the Steelers win, they wouldn’t watch a Cowboys game, just 14% would.
Of the other 49%, 27% said they wouldn, while only 5% said that the Steelers wouldn’t be as good as the Cowboys.
The Steelers, who have not played a regular season game since 2010, have won three straight division titles and are currently on pace to win their first Super Bowl in 23 years.
The Cowboys, who are playing in their first NFL season since the 2003 season, have not won a game since 2009.
The survey, which was conducted on May 22-23 by American Opinion Group and was sponsored by Fox Sports, surveyed 2,002 adults over the age of 18 in the U.S.
